“Obamacare: It Is Not Affordable”
Obamacare has caused health insurance premiums to skyrocket. It has caused millions of Americans who liked their health plans to lose their health plans. It has caused doctor and hospital networks to shrink. Obama’s cronies rammed the Affordable Health Care Act down the throats of uninformed Americans but even the less-informed can ultimately be educated as to its inherent problems. Obama said, “I will sign a universal healthcare bill into law by the end of my first term as president, that will cover every American and cut the cost of a typical family’s premium by up to $2,500 a year.” Obama lied and said it would cost $900 billion but we are now told the truth and it will cost $2.8 trillion. Sadly, it was supposed to cover all Americans but experts now inform us that at least 30 million citizens will not be covered. Obamacare’s supporters say the overhaul has greatly increased the number of people with health insurance coverage (albeit by less than three-quarters as much as it was supposed to). What they tend to omit is the fact that most of the “newly insured”—about 60 percent—have merely been dumped into Medicaid. According to the Congressional Budget Office, Obamacare has added only 8 million people, which is just 2.5 percent of the U.S. population, to the private insurance rolls. But how much did it cost?
